A little help
with Supper.
Here are a few useful places to start.
Add your groceries
In Kitchen or Pantry, tap the plus button to add ingredients. Enter one item or paste a list separated by commas, semicolons, or new lines. Tap Review to edit the names, optional quantities, and categories before adding them together. To scan a receipt, choose Add from receipt, then take a photo or choose one from your library and review the results.
Add ingredients by chat
Try “Add eggs, rice, and spinach to my pantry” in Kitchen. Supper shows a list you can edit before confirming Add ingredients. Use Undo if you change your mind. Chat uses AI and requires Supper Plus and your AI-sharing permission; manual entry is available without sending anything to AI.
Make a recipe your own
Tell Supper what sounds good in Kitchen. If an ingredient needs checking, choose Have it, Add to list, or Make without. You can also ask for a change in the conversation.
If a photo is still generating
The animated dots mean Supper is working. Cover photos start with a new recipe. Step illustrations start after you spend a few seconds viewing the recipe, or immediately when you choose Let’s cook. Text instructions remain available while photos finish.
Check your kitchen sync
Open Settings to see your iCloud status and choose Sync now. Make sure your device is signed into iCloud and has a network connection. TestFlight uses Apple’s production iCloud environment, so data from a development build may not appear there.
Clear downloaded photos
Settings → Clear photo cache removes eligible local copies while keeping your recipes and original photos. Unsynced originals are protected until they have been uploaded.
Manage a subscription
Supper Plus offers monthly and annual plans. US prices are $19.99/month or $179.99/year; your local price is shown before purchase. Both plans include 20 recipes, 10 receipt scans, and 60 follow-up questions each month, without rollover. Eligible new subscribers get 3 days free on monthly or 1 week free on annual. Either trial includes 3 recipes, 2 scans, and 10 follow-ups total. The selected plan renews automatically. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or current period ends in your Apple Account’s Subscriptions settings. Saved recipes and pantry items remain available after expiration.
Use Restore Subscription on the Supper Plus screen if an existing purchase is not recognized. TestFlight purchases use Apple’s sandbox and do not charge you. Test subscriptions may renew faster and do not carry over to the App Store version.
Choose what to share
AI sharing and usage analytics are separate choices. Supper asks before sending content to OpenAI, and you can turn AI sharing off in Settings. “Help improve Supper” is an optional switch during setup and in Settings. It is off by default and shares app actions and counts, never your chats, photos, ingredients, or food preferences. Turning it off stops collection and clears unsent events.

Beta feedback
In TestFlight, select Supper and tap Send Beta Feedback. A screenshot and the steps that led to a problem are especially helpful. Don’t include private information from a receipt unless it is needed to understand the issue.
